Privacy policy

TeeTwin (the app for golfers), TeeTwin Pro (the app for swing coaches and golf instructors) and the website teetwin.ai are run by LSTGMove, a company registered in Mauritius, which is responsible for your personal data. For any question or request about your data, write to support@teetwin.ai.

1. What we collect

• Your account: email address, name and, if you give it, your mobile number; whether you use TeeTwin as a golfer, a swing coach or a golf instructor.
• Your golf profile: gender, playing hand, age range, level and handicap if you enter them. Instructors also give their country, time zone, languages, a short description, their availability, time off, lesson fee and currency.
• Your body measurements (calibration): seven numbers — the length of your torso, shoulders, upper arm, forearm, thigh and shin, and an estimated height — and the date they were taken. We never store your picture or a video of you. The camera image is analysed on your phone and only these numbers are sent to us.
• Practice: body tracking runs on your phone. We store only your results — a score for each drill and position, and the date — not the camera picture and not your skeleton.
• Swing coaches' recordings: for each swing position, the position of the body's joints, and slow-motion swings as joint positions over time. These are skeletons made of points, not pictures. They are stored with the coach's name.
• Lessons: bookings, times, the golfer's note, cancellations, the lesson fee and TeeTwin's commission, the payment details an instructor chooses to show golfers, and the rating and comment a golfer leaves after a lesson. Golfers pay instructors directly: TeeTwin does not process lesson payments or see card details.
• Safety: the reviews or profiles you report, and the people you block.
• Technical data: our web server keeps standard logs (IP address, time and page requested) for security, for 14 days.

We do not show advertising, do not use advertising identifiers, do not track you across other apps or websites, and do not sell your data.

2. Why we use it

• To provide the service you signed up for: your account, your login codes, your drills, routines, scores and progress, and your lessons (booking, cancellation, notifying the other person, and invoicing instructors TeeTwin's commission).
• To pair each golfer with a swing coach of the same gender and playing hand, and the closest build (using the body measurements), and to score practice against that coach's recorded positions and swings. You agree to this when you calibrate, and you can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your measurements.
• To show golfers the recordings of the coach they are paired with. Swing coaches agree to this when they calibrate and record.
• To keep TeeTwin safe: handling reports, blocking, and preventing fraud and abuse.
• To answer you when you write to us.

3. Who sees it

• Other users, only as needed: golfers see their paired coach's name and recordings; golfers see an instructor's profile, rating and reviews (with the reviewer's first name); an instructor and a golfer see each other's name and the details of the lessons they share.
• Our service providers, who handle data only on our instructions: Amazon Web Services (servers, database and files, in the Mumbai, India region), Resend (sending login-code and lesson emails), ImprovMX (forwarding emails sent to support@teetwin.ai), and Apple for purchases in the App Store.
• Authorities, only when the law requires it.

Your data is stored in India, which may be outside your country. Where the law requires it (for example for users in the European Union), these transfers are covered by our providers' standard data-protection clauses.

4. How long we keep it

• Your account, profile, body measurements, recordings, scores, lessons, reviews and reports: as long as your account exists.
• Backups of the database: up to 30 days, then deleted.
• Records of lesson fees and the commissions invoiced to instructors: as long as accounting and tax law requires, even after the account is deleted.
• Server logs: 14 days.

5. Your rights and choices

• Delete your account at any time in the app: Account › Delete account. Your profile, body measurements, recordings, scores, routines, lessons, reviews and reports are deleted, except accounting records we must keep by law.
• Delete only your body measurements: Account › Delete my body measurements.
• Block another user, and report a review or a profile, from the app.
• You can also ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to limit or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format: write to support@teetwin.ai. We answer within one month.
• If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Office of Mauritius, or to the data protection authority where you live.

6. Security

Data is always sent encrypted (HTTPS). Our database cannot be reached from the internet, backups are stored encrypted, and access is limited to what is needed to run TeeTwin.

7. Children

TeeTwin is not intended for anyone under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.

8. Changes

If we change this policy in an important way, we will tell you in the apps before the change applies. The date at the top shows the latest version.
